Which eyeshadow palette should i get?

I like doing a lot of strange neon and dark eyeshadows, and i was wondering which palette is best?


i was reading other people's questions and everyone seems to love Coastal Scents 88 Palette.





So my choices are between, any Coastal Scents Palette (shimmer or matte? which is better)





Or the Beauties Factory 120 Palette

I got the coastal scents shimmer. I fricken love it. I use allmost all the colors and there soo pigmented. But you should also get two faced - insurance or urban decay- primary potion. It helps the eyeshadow stay on longer and you dont have to use alot of eyeshadow to get the color you want. Hope this helpsWhich eyeshadow palette should i get?

i like the second one but i love bright colors and i would go with the shimmer. but i dont like matte. so for the neon and dark, deff go with the second. i know im not much help but o wells haha=)

Defitnetly the first one. It has more goldish looking colors and browns that go well with brown eyes.The other colors would go well with someone with lighter eyes. It really depends too on the color of your skin. Ifyou are pale then the second is for you.

I would go with the ';warm palette';, because I think thaty dark brown eyes look beautiful in softer colours- like pale pink and almond.





Go for the ';doe eye'; look-soft and natural with long lashes, perhaps even false eyelashes- Bee-U-Tee- Full!
Dark brown eyes look best in EVERY color in my opinion, and I would get the 88, because there is such a big selection. The warm one has nuetrals in it too, so its like both of those palettes combines into one

Which eyeshadow palette should I buy? ?

I'm just starting with makeup, and I own pretty much no eyeshadows, so I was thinking I would buy an eyeshadow palette to get a lot of colors for not too much money. But now I have a dilemma as to WHAT palette to get. Here are my two options:





- The Coastal Scents 88 palettes, one that's matte/satin, and one that's shimmer. They're about 20-25 bucks each, plus 8 bucks for shipping.





- A 120 non-branded palette off eBay, which costs 22 bucks and has free shipping.





Now, the two Coastal Scents palette add up to a lot more than 120, but they're a lot more expensive. The brand is reliable, and while the 120 seems legit and was recommended by a really good makeup artist on YouTube, I still feel a little uneasy about the lack of brand.





So what do you think? The Coastal Scents 88 palettes have been recommended countless times on the Internet as well.Which eyeshadow palette should I buy? ?
Well why dont you see if their are any reviews on the 120 palette and if theirs not i'd go for costal scents mainly because if costal scents are 20-25 and the non branded ones are 22 at least you know that the coastal scents will be good. Also why dont you just buy 1 coastal scents palette just to see if you like them.

i would recemnd the coastel scents because the eyeshadows probally have better pay off and when your buying the coastel scents eyeshadow palltete theer are two kinds...im sure your aware of this but they have shimmer and matte personaly i would start off with matte colors but know that i think about it when i started makeup i liked shimmery colors now i dont so it depends on what you think!
I would recommendd the coastal scents palettes. They are very highly pigmented. The packaging is great too so your shadows don't come broken. I ordered a palette from ebay and when it came some of my shadows were broken, so it got mixed in with the othereye shadowss which really sucked. =(
It's not either of the things you asked about, but E.L.F. makes several quad palettes that are only a dollar. You could get a few of those, save yourself a LOT of money, and experiment. http://www.eyeslipsface.com
I have 2 Coastal Scents palettes and I love them...I would buy more palettes from them so yes this is a reccommendation..lol ;]

Ok so at band camp this summer (yes, i know band geek) before the dance all us girls got ready together. One of the girls had an AMAZING eyeshadow palette (i think it also had a little bit of blush and some lip gloss) but anyways each color of eyeshadow had a peace sign in it like made out of the eyeshadow!! it was awesome! and i was just wondering if anyone has something like that or has seen it before and knows where i can get it??

most ppl that sell the 120 palette are oversees, so finding a place that accepts a money order is going to be extermely difficult

That actually isn't a MAC product. If you look closely at the shadows you can see that they are slightly piled and rounded, MAC shadows lay completely flat in their pans. You can however purchase empty MAC palettes with 15 empty slots. Buying them for the palette does make the cost come down on each individual shadow.M-A-C cosmetic eyeshadow palette!?

that is NOT MAC palette! that palette can be found on ebay or www.costalscents.com. Sorry to burst your bubble. MAC palettes only hold 15 colours and you can put the colours in that you want (create your own palette basically).

Are they all made by the same company? It appears that they are, which will mean they are roughly the same in terms of quality, however, the first set claims to be ';highly pigmented';. This is a good thing, as it means you will get a strong, deep color when applying it, and you won't have to layer it on to get it noticeable. On this basis, I would buy the first. if you are more comfortable with matte colors, get the first one.


its almost all mattes, with a couple satin finishes..


if you are for comfortable using shimmer colors,

i havnt used them so i dunt know quality but they are really cheap for tht many eye shadows!
