I buy my palettes at the freestanding MAC store at my local mall - it's not a Pro store. For B2M, lyttleravyn is right about what you get. I would check with your store to see if you need those pans as last I heard, they changed their policy to where it was now required you have the pan in order to B2M. If that's the case, I heard that you can buy empty pans on starsmakeuphaven.com
Check out Enkoremakeup on Youtube. He has videos with much more info on B2M and what's required, etc. He also has a video on how to depot the shadows without using heat. He is awesome!Where can i buy a MAC 15 pan palette eyeshadow refill?
The palettes are only available from Mac pro. Either visit a MAC Pro store (not just the regular counters or freestanding stores, they don't carry them) or call the phone number on the Mac Pro website (www.macpro.com). Unfortunately unless you are a professional makeup artist you cannot order on the website, but you can just call and order.
Also, if you bring the 6 empty containers to a Mac store for B2M (Back2MAC) you can choose either a lipstick, eyeshadow or lipliner (not 100% positive on the liner though). If you bring them to a counter you can only choose a lipstick.
p.s.: For depotting, I use my hair straightening iron (with a little wax paper) and it works wonderfully! Just make sure you ask the store or counter you plan to bring the empties to, to check if they require the metal pan. If you depot the shadows, you are removing the metal pan, so if they won't accept depotted shadows you may want to reconsider going through all that.
Hope that helps!
You can try this site. They have some
